Bethesda Surgeons Perform Cancer Surgery
with New Equipment
Bethesda has performed its first cancer surgery with the new Harmonic scalpel, which was provided this past spring by the Bethesda Foundation. The laproscopic colon resection was performed on a male patient in November and was the first cancer surgery performed with the new surgical equipment.
